Safran Indisches Restaurant in Augsburg

In my opinion the best Indian restaurant in town with very, very nice staff. Both the waiters in the restaurant (when it was still open in autumn) and the supplier when ordering during Corona times are warm. The food tastes really good. Have already tried a lot there. Despite the very extensive menu, each dish (which we have tried so far) tastes delicious in its own way. Definitely recommended. Hopefully they'll get through the lockdown well.

Try something new again, like Safran, the Indian restaurant in the city center. First we got a wonderful soup from the house! Then we ordered a starter for two, which tasted so perfect that we decided to go back quickly to try the main courses! The service was great! The ambience was great! Thanks for this new experience. We can recommend everyone to go there before the lockdown!

Food quality is average. You make an effort, everything is fresh and nicely prepared, but there is simply a lack of that certain something in the taste.

A very tasty evening with attentive and super personable service! After the reopening and the corona phase, Safran is definitely an address that is worth supporting!

We spontaneously grabbed some lunch from Safran and I have to say it was very tasty. We are thrilled and would like to come back. By the way, the service was very cordial 👌 to sweeten the waiting time there was a delicious Mangolassi on the house 👌👍

we used the delivery service via Lieferando. Starters and a meat as well as a vegetarian dish were ordered. Unfortunately the food is mediocre at best. In the meat dish there were just thick chunks in the sauce that didn't taste like anything. Thin strips that can take on the flavor of the sauce would have been better. The vegetarian dish is bland and greasy. Conclusion: far too expensive for something unpleasant. The fast delivery time is very positive.

Very tasty Chicken Tikka Masala and Tandoori Tikka duck. The papadam sauces are also very tasty, especially the mint sauce!

We were there for the first time yesterday and are thrilled. The menu offers a large selection of all kinds of different food. The drinks menu is also plentiful. The food came quickly and tasted great. We tried something out with each other and everything was super delicious. Above all, there are many different sauces that go very well with everything. The service was also first class. Very friendly and accommodating.

Very nice dining room, extensive menu, attentive staff. Number 38, um, interesting taste, but nothing more. Since I liked the greeting from the house much better. The chai would be prepared fresh, nothing from the hot plate, very good. Payment took too long, although there were hardly any guests. It's a good thing that I had the right amount for the invoice.

We happened to walk past the restaurant and stopped by spontaneously. There is a family and hospitable atmosphere. We were served super friendly. The food tasted great and we got a lot to try. In any case, I will eat here more often. Thank you for the lovely evening!
